monthly review: July 2018
Too long ago, the last monthly review. I don’t want to pretend that I have not found the time to share private things with you. My wedding video was definitely something very private and intimate and I loved to share it with you. I just have to admit that in the last few weeks I’ve been too emotional to write about myself, my thoughts and my life. Maybe I have also doubted the model “monthly Review” that is spread inflationary with the same topics on almost every blog. But yes, I’ll write it again, for the faithful readers who like to read my blog, who like to take a look behind the scenes and like to see the person behind the outfits. Therefore, thank you and this one is for you <3
What was going on?
At the beginning of July Verena and I visited the Fashion Week in Berlin. I have already mentioned one or the other time that I’m a big Berlin fan. Above all, after living in Munich for 10 years, I simply appreciate the relaxed manner of the city. Moving to Berlin? Might be an option, but first I want to “arrive” in Frankfurt and enjoy the city. By the way: here you can find the highlights and trends of the Berlin Fashion Week.
What else? True: I got married! I know it’s been two months but I still can’t believe it’s over. The day has passed so quickly and left me in a little post bridal depression. I can’t describe it, the day was perfect, even though some things turned out differently than we thought. But there was so much love, so much happiness and emotion that it made me so sad that it went by so fast. And even if many probably don’t understand, the fact that it’s over has left a kind of void that I had to get over first. Fortunately, the next wedding is coming up soon, which I’m really looking forward to.
OK, this might be shocking: But in July, I didn’t feel like shopping at all. Usually I like to buy timeless pieces during sale season, which I can still wear next summer. This year I didn’t care for sale and even though it’s still very hot (35 °C!!!) I’m already looking forward to the autumn / winter trends. That’s why I actually only bought some whote boots this month, but unfortunately I won’t be able to wear them in the foreseeable future without dying of the heat death (that’s what you call luxury problems, by the way). Nevertheless, here are my favorites and trends that we probably see a lot the upcoming season.[show_shopthepost_widget id=”3224022″]
Whats up next?
After not only neglecting the monthly reviews, but actually the whole blog, I want to invest some time again. Instagram is fun, but the blog is somehow my baby. More posts in Lifestyle, Tori Diaries or Beauty, what do you think? In order to be able to work more focused, I will visit a Co Working Space in the next days. And, my biggest highlight: I have finally booked a holiday with my mother again. My Mum and I are very close and I’m really looking forward to spend a few days with her in Mallorca.
