Simplicity is the key – reduced and clean, instead of cluttered and eclectic. Interior, beauty, fashion – in almost all areas of my life I focus on minimalism. A couple of days ago my husband and I were visiting a Japanese Restaurant and philosophized about why we feel so relaxed and comfortable in that place – because of the reduced furnishings which felt so noble and warm.

For me minimalism doesn’t mean to forego colors or exciting cuts and combinations. On the contrary, if I would reduce my closet to black and white and a few earth tones, it would be rather depressing for me. Minimalism in fashion doesn’t mean exclusion and restriction – it only focuses on the essentials and what that is, I decide as the one wearing it. For example, if I combine different colors, logos or patterns, I pay attention to a clean and reduced cut of the individual parts, bringing together a maximum of three different colors. No ruffles, no flounces. Make-up is always in the background, becoming more subtle and natural.
