Deconstructivism, deconstruction, reassemble, abstract and minimalist. What began as an architectural innovation we find again in fashion today. Martin Margiela is certainly the master of deconstructivism, but new still yet unknown labels also rely on deconstructed designs. One of them is Blancore, a label that was founded in 2017 in New York and made deconstructed designs his trademark. Blancore floats with his pieces somewhere between fairy tale and modern age and is definitely a label to watch.

Dekonstruktivismus in fashion
I am wearing a dress from the current Spring Summer collection by Blancore, which again is all about deconstructivism. The deliberate asymmetry as well as the mix of colors and cuts gives the impression that the dress actually consists of two parts that have been put apart and newly put together. With the cowboy boots, I add another color accent, but also make the dress suitable for everyday use.
